Meiosis Meiosis is a form of cell division which produces gametes or 'sex cells'. Meiosis form 4 haploid daughter cells and each cell is genetically different. In Meiosis a single cell undergoes two divisions, each division goes through the stages of Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase and Telophase.
